Mama Tried Inc. specializes in harm reduction and alternative treatment techniques tailored to addicts who do not respond to the traditional regiment treatment that is offered in today’s treatment centers such as behavior and social modification which only has an 8% success rate. These techniques are implemented in an artificial environment which is not conducive to recovery once the client has transitioned back into society and his/her natural environment.
We at Mama Tried Inc. believe that it is important that the early addict learn to live
life on life’s terms in his own home and work environment.
Mama Tried Inc.'s clients consist of individuals who have reached a certain level in their personal and professional lives that doesn't afford them the luxury of anonymity or the freedom to "disappear" for 90, 60 or even 30 days at a time.

Philosophy
We believe in eliminating the revolving door syndrome that most addicts have grown accustomed to such as hiding out in detox or treatment centers by learning the lingo and going through the motions of programming.
We do not believe in the guilt and shamed based rituals that are implemented in today’s customary recovery process such as taking chips and counting clean time. In other words, from our own experience we do not believe in the traditional implementation of the twelve steps or the tell to get well mentality that supports it.
We are strong believers in the old adage relapse plays a major role in most addicts recovery; therefore we do not shoot our wounded or leave them behind.
We work closely with the addicts commonly labeled as chronic relapsers and feel that this is the segment of the addict community that is frequently left behind. We at Mama Tried Inc. were once among those left behind and put on the pay them no mind list, and have come to believe through our own experience that the only true remedy for the so called hopeless addict is exclusive one on one companionship with another so called hopeless addict who has found his way.
We at Mama Tried Inc. believe that whether you have 20 years or only one day, you only have today and are on equal ground with all who are in recovery. We are not above you and we are not below you, we are right beside you to support you on your journey to a successful and fulfilling life free from addiction. Services
We work hand in hand with in house medical detox services staffed with
our own doctors, psychiatrists and therapists who specialize in all forms of addiction management.
Mama Tried Inc. will provide a companion to accompany you wherever you need
to go. We travel locally, out of state and out of country as necessary.
Mama Tried Inc. has daily companion/coaching visits to your set, in your
office and at your home.
We believe that family, friends and others should be involved in the client's recovery process. We work hand in hand with couples in recovery and treating co-dependence where necessary. We at Mama Tried Inc. help the addict find a practical path.
We offer different levels of care for each client we work with, dependent on their individual needs. We have specially tailored programs to coincide with the client's life, work, family, and any other activity they are involved in. We offer both highly structured levels of care where we provide 24 hour, one on one supervision, as well as, day or night only programs determined by the needs of the client or the client's family.
Once we access you and determine the amount of time required from our companion, then we can tailor the program specifically for your needs around your life, job, and family.
Difference
- At Mama Tried Inc. we focus on harm reduction in real everyday life situations, because we believe that relapse occurs most often when recovering addicts fail to apply what they have learned in a recovery center when they return to their real life.
- We go wherever a client might need us; we offer mobile detox, 24/7 companionship, sober travel companions.
- We work with individuals who are usualy labeled as hopeless addicts.
- We bring a meeting to the client; We work with those who can not interrupt their social or professional lifes to spend in a recovery center.
- We work with families and couples, addressing everyone and everything that is affected by our client's alcoholism or addiction.
- Our one on one approach ensures our clients' privacy and confidentiality. In contrast most recovery centers focus on group therapy with little or no privacy.
